Avoid SEO Checklist

This is the list of items you should avoid doing. While most of these items won't result in your site being pulled completely from a search engine listing, they may negatively impact your site rankings or make it hard for the search engines to spider your pages. Try to get your site off link farms

□ Don't link to link farms

□ Don't create pages of links

□ Don't link to and from the same site repeatedly

□ Don't get into link circles (cross-linking)

□ Don't have broken links on your site

□ Don't use the meta refresh tag to redirect users

□ Don't use 302 redirects

□ Don't make constant minor changes to content

□ Don't separate content artificially

□ Don't violate copyright or other laws

□ Don't duplicate content on your site

□ Don't use robots.txt to ban large portions of your site

□ Don't write bad or incorrect HTML

□ Don't use frames

□ Don't create Flash splash pages

□ Don't write Flash-only sites
